Sanitation & Recycling

The Village of Readstown contracts with an outside waste management company for solid waste collection and recycling. Everyone within the city limits is required to have garbage collection and all residential customers within the city limits are required to have recycling collection.

Garbage collection takes place every Tuesday morning.
Recycling is collected every other Tuesday.

To ensure pickup, please place your totes curbside no later than 6:00 AM on Tuesday morning. Totes should be positioned at the curb with lids closed and placed clear of vehicles, mailboxes, and other obstructions.
