Nestled in the heart of the Kickapoo Valley, is the heart warming village of Readstown.  Readstown has the beautiful Kickapoo River that flows through along with the miles of Class 1 trout streams nearby.  If you are the adventerous type, come rent a kayak or canoe to paddle down the Kickapoo for a few hours or make it an adventure you won't forget as you can paddle to where the Kickapoo meets the Wisconsin River. 

Visitors are encouraged to check out our local lodging options such as rustic cabins, unique Airbnb's, and motels.  Shopping in Readstown is endless.  Enjoy our countless orchards in the fall, take a stroll through Second Nature at Reads Creek, play a game of frisbee golf at Tourist Park, hit the snowmobile trails and soak in the breathtaking scenery, or if staying inside is more your style, make sure to stop at the two Crazy Frank's Flea Market's and take home some treasures!  

After you work up an appetite, be sure to explore our numerous dining options!  Kickapoo Corners, Kickapoo Creekside, Rooster's Bar, Shovelheads Corner Bar, and Ice Cream on 14, are all options that will satisfy any appetite.  Kickapoo Kwik Stop has the largest selection of beer/liquor in the area, laundromat, showers, and the some of the best hospitality around!
