Spring Election

The Spring Election will be held on:

Poll Hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Location: Readstown Municipal Building
All eligible residents are encouraged to get out and vote!

Bring a valid photo ID

Same-day voter registration is available at the polls (proof of residence required)

If you received an absentee ballot, it must be returned by Election Day

Village Board Meeting
Begins: 4/9/2026 - 5:00 PM
Ends: 4/9/2026 - 6:00 PM
The Village of Readstown Board of Trustees will hold its regular monthly meeting.
Location: Readstown Municipal Building
Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Meeting Details:

The agenda will be posted in advance at Farmers State Bank, Community Board, and the Post Office in accordance with Wisconsin Open Meetings Law

Public input is welcome at the beginning of the meeting

Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Begins: 4/25/2026 - 10 AM
Ends: 4/25/2026 - 2 PM
The Village of Readstown will be hosting a Prescription Drug Take Back Day to provide residents with a safe, convenient way to dispose of unused or expired medications.
Date: Saturday, April 25
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Readstown Municipal Building
Residents are encouraged to bring unwanted prescription medications for proper disposal. This event helps prevent misuse, protects our environment, and keeps our community safe.

Village of Readstown Open Book
Begins: 5/1/2026 - 10:00 AM
Ends: 5/1/2026 - 12:00 PM
The Village of Readstown Open Book will be held:

Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Readstown Municipal Building
During Open Book, residents may review their property assessments and speak directly with the assessor regarding any questions or concerns.

This is the first step in the assessment review process

Property owners are encouraged to discuss any concerns with the assessor at this time

If issues are not resolved at Open Book, you may then file an objection with the Board of Review

Village of Readstown Board of Review

Ends: 5/21/2026 - 4:00 PM
The Village of Readstown Board of Review will be held:
Date: Thursday, May 21
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Readstown Municipal Building
The Board of Review provides an opportunity for property owners to formally object to their property assessment.
Important Information:

Property owners must first attend Open Book before filing an objection

A Notice of Intent to File an Objection must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance of the Board of Review

Objection forms are available at the Clerk’s office or through the Wisconsin Department of Revenue
-
Objections must be filed using the approved form and presented to the Board at the scheduled time
We encourage residents to participate and stay informed about their property assessments.
